Big Boy Jack

Jack officially became a big boy on Sunday.  His new bed and mattress with trundle, dresser with mirror, and chest were delivered on Sunday.  We set up everything and he is now sporting new bedding and everything.  I have been wanting to take a picture of everything to show you all, but haven't yet.  Today after I came home from work I peeked in on him napping.  He was so cute and it hit me just how old he is getting.  My little boy is growing up!  No more crib for him!  It's kind of sad.

Here is a picture of the crib he slept in and Olivia used as well.  We have now retired it. Charlotte will be sleeping in a new white crib (smaller to fit in Livi's bedroom).  This crib has given us lots of memories for us and we are going to miss it.  But life goes on and so must we. Bye bye crib!
And here is my sweet little man in his new bog boy bed.  Doesn't he look so peaceful and so small in such a big bed?  I am tearing up just looking at him.
Congratulations Jack!

Almost forgot...

Well, I just uploaded pictures from our water proof camera (finally) and I found some really neat pictures I would like to share with everyone.  The first few are of us at Effins in Smithfield, RI.  It's a restaurant/bar that has an outdoor pool.  We went there to celebrate Olivia's 1st year of school. We had a blast.  Check these out:

The next group of photos are of our trip to Navarre, FL.  Uncle Denis and Auntie Liz have a FABULOUS pool!  The kids practiced swimming without floaties, jumped off the diving board and simply had a great time!  Daddy had his share of fun too..he oved doing cannon balls and teaching Jack how to blow water through a noodle...of course something every child should know how to do.  We can't wait to go back!

Here are a couple videos of Olivia swimming and jumping off the diving board, or 'jumping board' as she and Jack call it.

Now, onto the visit from the cousins from Virginia.  Auntie Julia, Uncle Greg, Gregory Jr. and Brianna visited in July.  Auntie Alexa was watching Livi and Jack and decided to take the kids to the beach to meet up with the cousins.  Papa Coffey went too.  I wasn't there, but the kids said they had a wonderful time and they wish they could do it again.  Here is the whole gang in the water except for Jack and Alexa.

Our new neighbors

We have new neighbors and we finally met them today.  Actually we have seen them in and out, and met the little girl earlier this week, but today was our first play date with her.  Her name is Delaney and she is so sweet, so polite, and extremely well behaved.  We also met her father, Sean. He is Eric's age and they talked all night.  He was very nice as well.  His wife's name is Jen and they have 2 other children besides Delaney.  There is a 13 year old boy called Liam and a 10 year old boy named Connor.  Delaney is 6 1/2.  Olivia, Delaney and Jack rode bikes, had dinner together, and played in the pool and on the swing set.  Later, they had a snack, watched TV and then played in the basement.  It was a great evening.  We are thrilled to have great neighbors, especially a family with children!  Here's a few shots of the afternoon with the kids playing in the pool.  They enjoyed teasing the dogs to chase them so they could jump in the pool.  It was quite hilarious!

It's a......

Well, can you tell from the Ultrasound photos???  I could!  In fact, when Eric and I went to our appointment this afternoon I asked the Tech not to tell us; that I wanted to be the one to determine the sex...and I was correct!  Actually, I was right all along.  I started 2nd guessing myself when people kept guessing a certain sex, but I think I knew all along what the baby was.
Try to guess...here's the 'money' shot between the legs:

Well, can you guess?  Can you see the proof?  If not, at least enjoy these pictures of Charlotte:
Here's her cute little feet!

These aren't the best ultrasound pictures.  She was asleep until the end of the session, so even her cute profile didn't come up, or do her justice.  She has a cute button nose just like her sister and brother.  Well, if you haven't caught on yet....
It's a Girl!
and her name will be Charlotte

Eric and I couldn't be happier!  But we can't help feel a little sadness knowing Jack doesn't have a little brother to pal around with.  Who knows...maybe we'll go for #4!!!!

Cousins!!!!!!!!!

Olivia, Jack and I went to Grammy and Papa's house for dinner tonight to visit with Auntie Julia, Uncle Greg, Gregory Jr. and Brianna.  It was so much fun!  The kids really got along very well.  Boy, what a difference a year makes!  They played tag, cars, red light/green light and had fun hugging and kissing.  Olivia and Jack even sang using their microphones for everyone and Gregory sang our National Anthem for all of us.  The kids did not want to leave.  After about 30 minutes of endless hugs, kisses and well wishes, I finally dragged the kids into the car to go home.  We got home at 9:30 and they are finally sleeping!  Check out the nice family pictures and the fun Cousin shots too!

Picnic with Family

Well, Sunday we headed down to Newport again to have a picnic, fly kites and enjoy the ocean.  This time Papa Coffey, Grammy, Auntie Regina and her friend Jen and her daughter, Emma, came as did Regina's friend Maureen and her daughter, Isabelle.  It was great.  But that's not all....Grandma and Papa Toe came too!  It was a great time.  We all ate, flew kites, tried to fish, threw rocks in the water and even found some shells, sea glass and some nice rocks!
Enjoy the pictures!

Emily Shea and Annie's Wedding

Eric, Steve, Kari and I had a wedding to attend on Sat night for our friend Anne Marie and her now husband Gary.  While Tyler and Megan stayed in NY for the Fan Fest and a Met Game, Emmy made the trip to RI.  G-Ma and Papa Toe watched over Olivia, Jack and Emmy.  Guess who Emily absolutely adored.....yup, you guessed it....PAPA TOE!  Papa, Papa, Papa....he's got the touch.  She was fabulous for them.  She only wanted to sit with Papa, eat with Papa, and have Papa lay her down for bed.  She was great!  Check out this most adorable picture of our little visitor...isn't she precious?!  Olivia and Jack referred to her as a mini Maddie because of the head of curls!

The Wedding of Anne Marie and Gary was incredible.  It was probably one of the best weddings I have ever been to.  It was beautiful, unique, elegant, fun, and we stayed the entire evening...by our choice...that says something.  Eric is going to miss his dear "work wife" as will I, but she left for Scotland to begin her new life as Gary's wife today, Monday, July 14th!
We wish her the best.  Here are some pictures we took at the wedding!
