Below is a picture of us walking in the parade and on my right is the Mayor of Warwick. Although I am not a fan of him at all, it was kind of neat. He's wearing the flag shirt.

Happy 4th!
Happy Independence Day everyone! We had a great time this year. It all started Thursday, July 3rd with a nice evening at the beach with G-ma and Papa Toe and the fabulous fireworks! Unfortunately I forgot our camera so I don't have any good shots of that night. So not like me. We all woke up late on the 4th of July, but we were still able to rush out to the parade in Warwick Neck. Our friends, Susie and Ron (parents of Ava and Zane), invited us to march with them. We made it there just as the parade was starting and were able to participate. We didn't have time to dress up, but it was still a lot of fun! After the parade, everyone from the neighborhood gathers on a lawn of a resident and they hang the flag, pass out awards, play and eat watermelon. It was incredible. It's an acre of land, with rolling grass down to the water. We had a wonderful time with our friends. Here are some pictures of the parade and after party.
