Olivia and Jack began school on September 5, 2008. They were both excited to begin school, but of course when Daddy and I declared we were leaving they both cried. I was actually surprise about Jack, but I expected it from Olivia. Although this was her second year at Greenwood Montessori, a lot of her really good friends went on to public school. So there were a ton of new kids and a new teacher to get used to. I was reassured by Ms. Brenda that both stopped crying right away and began to work and have fun. I knew they would be fine, that's why I walked out without looking back...Daddy, on the other hand, walked out upset, frowning and nervous for them. But he was happy to hear the day went great and they both had fun and learned a lot. Brenda was impressed with Olivia's reading ability (she read a couple books to Brenda all by herself) and she was proud of Jack and his ability to get along with the others and work independently with all new work.
